Born in Chile, Ricardo went to school both in Santiago and in London. He then studied Agronomic Engineering and Oenology at Chile's Catholic University.
Ricardo worked in oenological duties at Charles Krug Winery in Napa Valley, Chateau Branaire-Ducru and then worked for three years as the head of the development department of Chile's biggest supplier for the Wine Industry.

Juan Alejandro has served as winemaker at Viñedos Calcu since 2005, where he has played an important role in the development of our wines. Juan has worked at several prestigious wineries throughout the world, including Villa Maria Estate in Marlborough, New Zealand, Torrecorcos Wines in Duero, Spain and Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates in California, USA.
